Expedition Avignon

Pictures from the Dead Sociologist’s Tour are up on flickr!

I’m leaving this afternoon for Provence with the BG gang.  We’ll be setting up camp in Avignon and traveling around a bit during the day by bus and train.  On the to-do list: roman ruins in Arles, L’abbaye de Sénanque, the Chateau des Baux de Provence, the Palais des Papes, the Pont du Gard (ah, memories!  we went there on the France trip in high school)

I have a confession to make. I check my blog stats entirely too often.   Troubling signs of egoism aside, all this stat-checking is pretty good for a laugh–especially when I read the list of phrases that people put into search engines which eventually take bring them to visit me.

I think you folks deserve a laugh too, so here are some of the the best:

  •  germantime fabric
  • key-hole shaped tray
  • three things shaped like a kite  (unlike most things, my blog is kite-shaped?)
  • travel agency in francia  (who googles about France with a phrase in spanglish?)
  • body found in union city  (???)
  • release the penguins

Have a good weekend!
